Rich media embeds for your link page: YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, podcasts, and more

Video and audio blocks on your Linkssi page: YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, X, SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts—plus plan limits and SEO. (Booking and form website embeds are a separate guide.)

Looking for booking or lead-form widgets on WordPress or your main site? That uses embed.js, data-linkssi-booking, data-linkssi-form, and ?embed=1 iframes—not the media URLs below. Read: Embed bookings and lead forms on your website.

A link in bio page that only lists plain URLs can feel flat. Rich media embeds add movement and proof: a launch video, a podcast episode, a reel, or a recorded talk. In the Linkssi Builder, you paste a normal link from a supported platform and the dashboard turns it into an on-page player or card. You never paste raw embed HTML for these providers, which keeps things safer and more consistent across devices.

This guide lists which media URLs you can embed on your Linkssi page, how to place blocks for conversions, how they interact with plan limits (max embeds per page), and how they affect SEO and time-on-page.

Supported platforms (paste the URL)

The builder accepts public URLs from these services:

  • YouTube — videos and standard watch links
  • Vimeo — hosted video
  • Spotify — tracks, albums, and shows where the URL pattern is recognised
  • SoundCloud — audio
  • TikTok — short-form video
  • Apple Podcasts — show and episode links that resolve for embedding
  • Instagram — posts and reels where the URL format is supported
  • X — posts (formerly Twitter) when the URL is recognised

If you paste something we do not recognise yet, the product will tell you. That is preferable to silently broken iframes on your live page.

How embeds behave in the builder

You add an embed from the same Builder screen as links and bookings. Give the block a sensible title when you want context (“Watch: 2025 showreel”). Reorder with drag and drop so media supports your primary call to action instead of burying it.

The live preview shows how the block sits next to your profile and links. Always check on a real phone after publish: autoplay rules, aspect ratio, and tap targets differ from desktop.

For the rest of your page structure, see the page builder guide.

Placement and conversion strategy

  • One hero embed above the fold can work when that clip is your best proof
  • Stack depth matters: if everything is “watch this”, nobody books or submits a form
  • Pair embeds with a booking block or lead form so the next step is obvious (bookings, leads)
  • Contact cards suit networking use cases where saves matter more than views (Contact-cards-save-to-phone">contact cards)

Creators often lead with one strong video, then three tight links. Agencies might lead with a reel, then case studies as normal links. Match the pattern to your funnel.

Plan limits and fair use

Each plan defines how many embed blocks you may have per page. If you hit the limit, remove or replace an older embed, or move to a tier with a higher allowance. Pricing is the source of truth for your account.

Heavy pages with many simultaneous players can feel slow on old phones. A small number of intentional embeds usually beats a wall of widgets.

SEO and discovery

Embeds can increase dwell time when people actually watch or listen. That is a soft signal that your page answered their intent. They do not replace classic SEO foundations: a clear title in your profile, a bio that names what you do, and internal paths (book, form, contact) that match your offers.

Your embed still lives on your link domain (including custom domains when configured), which keeps the session under your brand instead of sending people straight to a social network and losing them.

Accessibility and brand safety

Prefer captions on video where the platform provides them. Avoid autoplay-with-sound patterns that surprise visitors. Keep titles descriptive for screen-reader users skimming the list of blocks.

Frequently asked questions

Can I embed arbitrary HTML? No. Linkssi uses recognised URLs so the output stays consistent and safe.

What if my link is private or geo-blocked? Public embeds need publicly resolvable content. Private or restricted media may not render.

Can I mix music and video on one page? Yes. Order blocks so the narrative makes sense (for example podcast first, then booking).

Add rich media when it is part of your story, not when it is filler. Paste a URL, check the preview, publish, then revisit monthly to replace outdated clips.
