Team Access
Learn how to invite teammates by email, assign page and module access, and manage permissions without sharing your owner login.
Team access lets colleagues work in your Linkssi workspace without sharing one password. Invite by email, assign access to specific pages or modules, and keep billing under the owner account.
Useful for agencies (designer edits bio, account manager handles leads), venue teams (front desk checks bookings), and growing brands delegating analytics review.
How it works
The workspace owner billing account controls subscription and invites. Team members create or use existing Linkssi accounts linked via team_owner_id. Access can be scoped per page and per module (leads, bookings, Smart Sites, etc.) depending on plan.
Team members Sign in with their own credentials — owners do not see their passwords.
Setup steps
- Confirm team access on your plan — Starter, Pro, and Premium include team access; Premium adds advanced team permissions.
- Open Dashboard → Settings → Team (or Team members section).
- Click Invite and enter the teammate's email.
- Assign page access — which bio pages they can edit.
- Assign module access where available — e.g. leads, bookings, analytics.
- Teammate accepts invite, signs in, and sees scoped sidebar items only.

Verify current entitlements on Dashboard → Billing plan feature list.
Best practices
Principle of least privilege — intern gets Bio edit only, not Billing. Use work emails for invites so offboarding is clean.
Tip: Premium agencies maintain one workspace per major client or one Premium parent with strict page grants — pick a model and document it internally.
Review team list quarterly; remove ex-staff promptly.
Offboarding teammates
When someone leaves your organisation, remove their team grant immediately in Settings — do not rely on them forgetting the URL. They retain their personal Linkssi account but lose workspace access once removed.
Owner vs member billing
Only the workspace owner sees Dashboard → Billing and Paddle Manage billing. Team members cannot upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the subscription — clarify internally who owns the card.
Premium team permissions
Premium expands who can change billing-adjacent settings and may offer finer module splits — confirm the live feature list on Dashboard → Billing before quoting enterprise clients. Starter and Pro team access still covers most agency day-to-day needs.
Role assignment examples
| Role | Typical grants |
|---|---|
| Designer | Bio edit only |
| Account manager | Leads, Contacts, Analytics |
| Front desk | Bookings calendar read/write |
| Agency owner | Full access including Billing |
Common mistakes
Sharing the owner login — defeats audit trail and breaks password reset security — password reset guide. Expecting team members to manage Paddle billing — only owner accesses Manage billing. Inviting before the recipient has registered — they must complete account creation from the invite email.
