Lead Forms and CRM
Build custom lead forms, place them on your bio or external sites, and manage submissions through the Leads inbox and Contacts CRM on Pro and above.
Linkssi's lead capture stack combines custom forms, a Leads inbox, and a Contacts CRM so bio and website enquiries stay organised instead of scattered across DMs and email threads.
This guide is for Pro and Premium subscribers (and prospects evaluating pipeline features). Lead capture requires the Pro plan or higher — it is not available on Free or Starter.
How it works
Forms — Build forms in Dashboard → Forms with fields you define (name, email, phone, message, custom fields). Place a form block on your bio or embed the same form on an external site via Smart Sites.
Leads inbox — New submissions arrive in Dashboard → Leads with status new. Triage, reply, and move leads through pipeline stages.
Contacts — Dashboard → Contacts unifies people across form submissions, bookings, and Smart Sites pixel activity. Each contact has a timeline: submissions, notes, tags, and browsing history where pixel data exists.
Export — Download CSV from analytics or CRM views when you need data in a spreadsheet or external tool.
Setup steps
- Confirm your plan includes lead capture (Pro+). Check Dashboard → Billing if unsure.
- Open Dashboard → Forms → create a form with fields and a thank-you message.
- Add a Form block to your bio in Dashboard → Bio, or copy the embed snippet for Smart Sites.
- Share the page and submit a test entry from a private window.
- Open Dashboard → Leads — confirm the submission appears with status new.
- Open the linked Contact — add notes, tags, and stage updates as you qualify the lead.
- Optional: configure automations in Dashboard → Smart Sites for follow-up — see Automations Overview.

Best practices
Ask for the minimum fields needed to follow up — name, email, and one free-text question outperform long forms on mobile. Name forms clearly ("Consult enquiry" vs "Newsletter") so Leads inbox filtering stays sane.
Tip: Connect Smart Sites pixel on your pricing or services pages so when someone submits a form, you see which pages they visited first — see What Are Smart Sites?.
Review the Leads inbox daily; stale new leads erode conversion. Use stages consistently across your team.
Lead stages workflow
Typical pipeline: new → contacted → qualified → won / lost. Define stages once in Leads settings and train team members to update on every touch — stale stages break automations.
Integrations mindset
CSV export bridges to spreadsheets and lightweight Zapier flows until native integrations expand. Export weekly for finance if leads represent revenue forecasting.
Common mistakes
Expecting lead forms on Starter — upgrade to Pro first. Duplicating the same person across multiple forms without checking Contacts — search by email before creating manual duplicates. Embedding forms on external sites without testing ad blockers and cookie consent — always verify in a private window.
